Bunghatta.ac.id. Masanari Motoyama, a Gifu University Student, has completed a 21-day student exchange program at Bung Hatta University. During his time at Bung Hatta University, he has participated in a series of activities. "In carrying out his duties, besides being skilful, he can also adapt very quickly with Bung Hatta University students and lecturers," said Dr. Eng. Reni Desmiarti, S.T., M.T, Head of Bung Hatta University BPPKP.
Among the activities he experienced, Masanari visited SMA Gumanti 1 in Gumanti District in Solok Regency to exchange Japanese culture and participate in the new student ceremony. He also conducted research in water and liquid waste treatment laboratories for eliminating phenols using activated carbon adsorption. The main program is an internship in the Semen Padang Industry for five days to study cement production including raw materials, production processes and power generation from waste heat recovery for steam generators. In addition, he has new experience on how to work in the industry. In front of Chemical Engineering students, Bung Hatta University, Masanari presented and shared his experiences as an exchange student.
With the presentation of certificates, Masanari was officially released by the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Dr. Hidayat, M.T., accompanied by the Chair of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr. Mulyasmi, M.T, and Chairman of BPPKP, Dr. Reni Desmiarti, S.T., M.T, as a sign of the end of the student exchange program for Gifu University students for this year. "With this student exchange program, it is very good to strengthen collaboration between universities. Students from Bung Hatta University or Gifu University can share knowledge and experience," said Dr. Hidayat, M.T, Dean of the FTI University of Bung Hatta. (Rio)
